ACADEMIC STAFF
i. Professor Candidates must possess outstanding and continuing scholarly achievements/publications and must have served as Reader for a minimum of three (3) years or as Senior Lecturer for a minimum of six (6) years.
ii. Associate Professor Candidates must possess outstanding and continuing scholarly achievements/publications and must have served as Senior Lecturer for a minimum of three (3) years.
iii. Senior Lecturer Candidates must possess a PhD, with a minimum residency of three (3) years as Lecturer I and teaching experience of six (6) years in a university or institution of similar status.
iv. Lecturer I Candidates must possess a PhD or its equivalence. Persons without this qualification however, may be appointed to the post if they have adequate teaching and/or professional experience, and evidence or promise in research. In addition, an eligible candidate for this position must have served for 3years as Lecturer Il in a university or an institution of similar status or had relevant professional experience elsewhere.
v. Lecturer II Candidates must possess a PhD or its equivalence. Persons without this qualification however, may be appointed to the post if they have adequate teaching and/or professional experience, and evidence or promise in research.
vi. Assistant Lecturer Candidates must possess a Master’s degree or must be a Graduate Assistant with a minimum of 2 years teaching experience.
vii. Graduate Assistant Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree (minimum of Second-Class Honours Upper Division or its equivalence).
viii. Assistant Librarian Candidates must possess a good First degree in Library and Information Studies or related field.

B

NON-TEACHING (SPATS& JUNIOR STAFF)

i. Deputy Bursar Candidates must be confirmed and suitable Chief Accountant with at least 15 years cognate experience in Public/Private Sector Accounting and has served a four year residency on the post.
ii. Chief Accountant a) Candidates must possess an Honours Degree (minimum of 22)     plus   ACA    or CAN, NYSC Discharge/Exemption/Exclusion Certificate with at least 12 years cognate experience in Public/Private Sector Accounting.
b) Candidates must possess an HND (with at least Upper Credit) in Accountancy from a recognized Higher Institution, plus NYSC Discharge/Exemption/Exclusion Certificate and either ACA or CNA with at least 12 years cognate experience in Public/Private Sector Accounting. By direct appointment of a candidate possessing a Master’s Degree in Accounting, plus NYSC Discharge/Exemption/Exclusion Certificate with at least 9 years cognate experience in Public/Private Sector Accounting plus ACA or CNA
iii. Principal Assistant Registrar a) Candidates must possess an Honours Degree (minimum of Second-class Lower Division from a recognized Higher Institution, NYSC Discharge/Exemption/Exclusion Certificate and at least 12 years cognate experience in university administration, any other institution of higher learning, Public /well established private sector and registered with a relevant professional body. By appointment of a candidate possessing a Master’s Degree in the relevant Field, plus NYSC Discharge/Exemption/Exclusion Certificate with at least 9 years cognate experience in University Administration, any other Institution of Higher Learning, Public/well established private sector and registered with a relevant professional body.
iv. Senior Assistant Registrar a) Candidates must possess an Honours Degree (minimum of Second-class Lower Division from a recognized Higher Institution, plus NYSC Discharge/Exemption/Exclusion Certificate with at least 9years cognate experience in university administration, any other institution of higher learning, in University Administration, any other Institution of Higher Learning, Public/well established private sector and registered with a relevant professional body. By appointment of a candidate possessing a Master’s Degree in the relevant Field, plus NYSC Discharge/Exemption/Excluision Certificate with at least 6years cognate experience in University Administration, any other Institution of Higher Learning, Public/well established private sector and registered with the relevant professional body.
v. Principal Accountant a) Candidates must possess an Honours Degree (minimum of Second-class Lower Division) in Accountancy from a recognized Higher Institution, plus NYSC Discharge/Exemption/Exclusion Certificate with at least 9 years cognate experience in Public/Private Sector Accounting and registrable with a recognized professional Accountancy body (ACA/CNA). b) Candidates must possess an HND (with at least Upper Credit), plus NYSC Discharge/Exemption/Exclusion Certificate with at least 9 years cognate experience in Public/Private Sector Accounting and either ACA or CNA. By direct appointment of a candidate possessing a Master’s Degree in Accounting, NYSC Discharge/Exemption/Exclusion Certificate with at least 6years cognate experience in Public/Private Sector Accounting plus ACA or CNA.
vi. Chief Computer Programmer Candidates must be Assistant Chief Systems Analyst/Assistant Chief Programmer with at least 18 years cognate experience from a public/well established private sector and has served a four-year residency on the post.
vii. Assistant Registrar a) Candidates must possess an Honours Degree (minimum of Second-class Lower Division) from a recognized Higher Institution, plus NYSC Discharge/Exemption/Exclusion Certificate with at least 6years cognate experience in university administration, any other institution of higher learning, Public/well established private sector and registrable with the relevant professional body. By appointment of a candidate possessing a Master’s Degree in the relevant Field, NYSC Discharge/Exemption/Exclusion Certificate with at least 3 years cognate experience in University Administration, any other Institution of Higher Learning, Public/well established private sector and must be registered with the relevant professional body.
viii. Accountant I a) Candidates must possess an Honours Degree (minimum of Second-class Lower Division) in Accountancy from a recognized Higher Institution, plus NYSC Discharge/Exemption/Exclusion Certificate with at least 3 years cognate experience in Public/Private Sector Accounting and registrable with a recognized professional Accountancy body (ACA/CNA).b) Candidates must possess an HND(with at least Upper Credit) in Accountancy from a recognized Higher Institution, plus NYSC Discharge/Exemption/Exclusion Certificate and either ACA or CNA with at least 3 years cognate experience in Public/Private Sector Accounting. By direct appointment of a candidate possessing a Master’s Degree in Accounting, plus NYSC Discharge/Exemption/Exclusion Certificate and registrable with either ACA or CNA.
ix. Administrative Officer a) Candidates must possess an Honours Degree (minimum of Second-class Lower Division) from a recognized Higher Institution, plus NYSC Discharge/Exemption/Exclusion Certificate with at least 3years cognate experience in University Administration, any other Institution of Higher Learning, Public/well established private sector. By appointment of a candidate possessing a Master’s Degree in the relevant Field, plus NYSC Discharge/ Exemption/Exclusion Certificate.
x. Legal Officer I a) Candidates must possess a Bachelor of Law (LLB) and Barrister at Law (BL). The candidate must have an Honours        Degree, plus NYSC Discharge/Exemption/Exclusion Certificate, with evidence of Membership of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) with at least 3 years cognate experience from a public/well established private sector. By appointment of a candidate possessing a Master’s Degree in Law and a BL, plus NYSC Discharge/Exemption/Exclusion Certificate.
xi. Technologist I a) Candidates must possess B.Tech (minimum of Second-class Lower Division)/HND (with at least Upper Credit) in a relevant field, plus NYSC Discharge/Exemption/Exclusion Certificate with at least 3years cognate experience. By direct appointment of a candidate possessing a Masters Degree in the relevant field plus NYSC Discharge/Exemption/Exclusion Certificate.
xii. System Analyst I a) Candidates must possess an Honours Degree (minimum of HND (with at least Upper Credit) in Computer Science or Information Science/Technology from a recognized Higher Institution, plus NYSC Discharge/Exemption/Exclusion Certificate with at least 3years cognate experience, 2 of which must be in Systems Analyst/Design. By appointment of a candidate possessing a Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Science, plus NYSC Discharge/Exemption/Exclusion Certificate.
xiii. Higher Works Superintendent Candidates must possess HND (with at least Upper Credit) in an Engineering/Science related field from a recognized Higher Institution/public service, plus NYSC Discharge/Exemption/Exclusion Certificate.
xiv. Data Processing Officer I a) Candidates must possess an Honours Degree (minimum of Second-class Lower Division)/HND (with at least Upper Credit) in Computer Science/Data Processing from a recognized Higher Institution, NYSC Discharge/Exemption/Exclusion Certificate with at least 3 years cognate experience from a   public/well established Private Sector. b) Candidates must possess a Master’s Degree in Computer Science/Data       Processing      and      NYSC Discharge/Exemption/Exclusion Certificate.   TERMINAL POINT FOR 5 CREDITS (WASC/SSCE/NECO/NABTEB/GCE) O/L HOLDERS
xv. Accountant II Candidates must possess an Honours Degree (minimum of Second-class Lower Division) in Accountancy from a recognized Higher Institution plus NYSC Discharge/Exemption/Exclusion Certificate.
xvi. Data Processing Officer II Candidates must possess an Honours Degree (minimum of Second-class Lower Division)/HND (with at least Upper Credit) in Computer Science/Data Processing from a recognized Higher Institution, plus NYSC Discharge/Exemption/Exclusion Certificate
xvii. Senior Assistant Technologist Candidates must possess B.Tech (minimum of Second-class Lower Division)/HND (with at least Upper Credit) in a relevant field, plus NYSC Discharge/Exemption/Exclusion Certificate.
xviii. Administrative Assistant Candidates must possess an Honours Degree (minimum of Second-class Lower Division) from a recognized Higher Institution, plus NYSC Discharge/Exemption/Exclusion Certificate.
xix. Assistant Executive Officer Candidates must possess a First School Leaving Certificate and 5 credits in WASC/SSCE/NECO/NABTEB including English Language in not more than 2 sittings.
xx. Senior Technical Assistant I Candidates must possess a First School Leaving Certificate and 5 credits in WASC/SSCE/NECO/NABTEB including English Language in not more than 2 sittings, plus Trade Test IlI & II in the relevant field, with at least, 3 years cognate experience.
xxi. Assistant Works Superintendent Candidates must possess a First School Leaving Certificate and 5 credits in WASC/SSCE/NECO/NABTEB including English Language in not more than 2 sittings, plus Trade Test lll in the relevant field, with at least, 3 years cognate experience.
xxii. Executive Officer (Accounts) Candidates must possess G.C.E’A’ level in 2 subjects   Candidates must possess G.C.E. “A” level in 2 subjects obtained in a sitting or 3 obtained at 2 sittings including OND in Business Studies/Accounting/Mathematics or OND in Business Studies/Accounting/Public Administration/Banking and Finance/Marketing/Computer Science/Management from a recognized Institution.
xxiii. Computer Operator II Candidates must possess a First School Leaving Certificate and 5 credits in WASC/SSCE/NECO/NABTEB including English Language in not more than 2 sittings, plus certificate in computer operation.
xxiv. Senior Clerical Officer Candidates must possess a First School Leaving Certificate and 5 credits in WASC/SSCE/NECO/NABTEB including English Language in a sitting, with at least, 3 years cognate experience.
xxv. Hall Supervisor Candidates must possess an OND in Hospitality Management and Tourism/Psychology/Social Sciences from a recognized Institution.
xxvi. Laboratory Assistant Candidates must possess a First School Leaving Certificate and 3 credits in WASC/SSCE/NECO/NABTEB including English Language and a Science subject in a sitting, with at least,3years cognate experience.
xxvii. Craftsman Candidates must possess a First School Leaving Certificate and 3 credits in WASC/SSCE/NECO/NABTEB, plus Trade Test Ill in the relevant field, with at least, 3 years cognate experience.
xxviii. Clerical Officer Candidates must possess a First School Leaving Certificate and 3 credits in WASC/SSCE/NECO/NABTEB including English Language in a sitting.
xxix. Assistant Clerical Officer Candidates must possess a First School Leaving Certificate and 3 credits in WASC/SSCE/NECO/NABTEB including English Language in a sitting.
xxx. Senior Porter Candidates must possess a First School Leaving Certificate and 3 credits in WASC/SSCE/NECO/NABTEB including English Language in a sitting. Ex-service man with discharge

MEDICAL STAFF

i. Medical Officer Candidates must be Medical Doctors registered with the Nigerian Medical and Dental Council, plus NYSC Discharge/Exemption/Exclusion Certificate with at least 3years post registration experience.
